Accommodations for Students at the WESO tournament

Question:

My son has an IEP, he is dyslexic. If he does a test event, like iCompute, can we provide a reader, or can he use his reading pen provided by AAPS to assist?

Most likely he will have a team mate, but he should also have the ability to “read” himself.

Answer:

Yes, your son can use the same adaptations at WESO that are specified in his IEP as he does in school.

In this case, his partner becomes the reader and he could bring and use the reading pen.
