WESO Needs YOU!

Since 2002, WESO has been a fully volunteer-driven community tradition bringing hands-on STEM enrichment to students across Washtenaw County. Each year, the tournament is made possible by a dedicated Board of Directors whose leadership helps inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers.

We hope to see the WESO tradition continue but this will only be possible if we expand our Board and committees. Many of our current board members have served for years, and we are looking to welcome new voices, perspectives, and energy in order to ensure the continuation of this valuable program.

If WESO has been a meaningful experience for your family, we invite you to be part of what comes next. Board and committee roles offer a chance to contribute leadership, organizational, and communication skills — no scientific background required — while working alongside a passionate community committed to STEM education.

Join us in helping WESO continue to thrive and inspire students for years to come. Please reach out to us at weso@wesoscience.org
